BEV - Richemont to Acquire Italian Jeweler Vhernier

Richemont plans to acquire Vhernier S.p.A., an esteemed Italian jewelry brand known for its modern designs. Founded in Valenza in 1984 and later acquired by the Traglio family in 2001, Vhernier blends traditional precious metals with unconventional materials like titanium and ebony. The transaction's financial terms are undisclosed and pending customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

Vhernier's distinct aesthetic, inspired by the human body and modern sculpture, features bold shapes seen in collections like Calla and Palloncino. Handcrafted in Valenza, its pieces are renowned for quality and sold worldwide. Richemont's Chairman, Johann Rupert, anticipates Vhernier's addition complementing their existing jewelry Maisons, while Vhernier's leadership expresses confidence in growth under Richemont. The acquisition is not expected to significantly impact Richemont's financials for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
